Meg knows she will start sixth grade at a new school, but then a letter arrives and changes everything. It’s an invitation to participate in the TILT time exchange program, an exclusive chance to travel into the future. But accepting the opportunity means taking on a daring challenge, too: Every traveler is assigned a token, and to return home, they must correctly figure out its purpose.
But Meg’s token leaves her disappointed. It’s painfully ordinary. Now, she’s stuck in a new place and time with a token whose importance she can’t seem to unlock. But Meg doesn’t give up. Instead, she keeps trying and continues failing, all while exploring the future tech around her.
Meg discovers that she needs much more than a tether and a token to make it in the future—and make her way back home. She needs curiosity and a willingness to mess up, too.
